Galavanting Poodles is a unique poodle kennel located in Talkeetna, Alaska.
Galavanting Poodles are tried and true; Alaska poodles. Raised by a third generation Alaskan, Melissa Laggis, on a property deep in a taiga (TIE-guh) forest in Alaska. These Alaska poodles call the small village of Talkeetna their home.
Galavanting Poodles train and condition in one of the most unique environments in the world! Daily exercise consists of hikes in the mountains and backcountry of Alaska.
Galavanting Poodles are also active in AKC dog shows throughout Alaska as well as the lower 48 states of the United States. They have become affectionately known as “the Alaska poodles” by the folks who get to meet them when they travel the Lower 48.
