Bryce came to me by way of Lakeridge Farm's Poodles in Renton, Washington. Bryce has multiple Group 1’s to his name as well as other group placements in the AKC dog show ring.
I often describe Bryce as a poodle who loves love. He LOVES meeting new people. It takes him no time to climb into your lap or snuggle up around your neck. Bryce is equally as goofy as he is a lovebug. He is the court jester in my pack and brings laughter to all who meet him.
Bryce is also an outstanding hiking dog. He's absolutely fearless when we hike. He loves to conquer boulders and will attempt to climb, jump or otherwise ascend any and every giant rock in our path. Bryce's effortless movement helps him to move quickly and gracefully over boulder fields.

Pali (Polly)

GCHB Lakeridge Galavanting NāPali
Sire: CH Randenn Snapshot
Dam: CH Lakeridge That’s My Girl

I love to share the story of my first time seeing Pali as a young puppy. I was in Washington to observe a puppy evaluation when Pali was placed on the table for evaluation. She just sang to me. I couldn't stop staring at her.
Pali has a graceful carriage, impeccable foot timing, and a quiet confidence that will draw you into her space.
Pali has had a distinguished show career. Pali was the #1 Non-Sporting Dog in Alaska for 2019. She retired in the Top 20 Nationally ranked all breed and breed poodle standings.
Pali is equally at home in the show ring as she is hiking in the backcountry of Alaska. Pali's favorite places to adventure are through the moss covered summits in the alpine tundra zone of a mountain top.

Kluane

CH Gardenpath d’Galavanting Rose
Sire: GCH Dacun Kaylens He’s A Heartbreaker
Dam: CA CH Gardenpath Avante Garde

Kluane found her way to me from Gardenpath Poodles in Canada. Klu is a lovely example of the poodle breed. She is a cobby (square) girl with absolutely correct poodle movement and the head of a poodle angel.
Kluane quickly finished her AKC championship. And now we prepare for her career in the dog show ring as a Special.
Klu loves to hike and adventure. She is a playful poodle with a lively personality. Klu is the most patient with young children and babies. She enjoys their antics and finds the unpredictability of children a fascinating distraction. This attraction to children is a trait of hers I most especially adore and appreciate.

Grace

Lakeridge Galavanting Never Out of Style
Sire: GCHP Lakeridge Kaylens Hey Big Spender
Dam: CH Lakeridge Talkin’ About My Girl

Grace-headshot-galavanting-poodle.jpg

Grace is the newest addition to Galavanting Poodles. My friends, Deb, of the renowned Lakeridge Farms, and long-time Lakeridge breeding partner, Cathy, called to tell me about this special young girl. As soon as I saw photos of her, I knew she had to make her way to Alaska!
Grace has a unique story in that she became old enough to enter the dog show ring just as the global pandemic, COVID-19, hit our part of the world. As a result, Grace spent her puppyhood training for the show ring but never getting the chance to go play at a dog show.
I am very excited to show Grace in the ring. But I am in no rush. Grace’s style and carriage will be just as lovely when she enters a show ring as they are today. Grace has a stunning poodle head and a wonderful expression.
Grace is known around Galavanting as “baby Grace.” Although she is now more than a year old, she will probably always be known as “baby Grace.” She has a lively spunk to her spirit. Always ready for an adventure! Grace adores humans and wants nothing more than to spend her days with her favorite people.

Galavanting Poodles of the Past

Wallace
01/20/2014 - 01/11/2020

CA BIS AKC CH Whisper Ridge Double Black Diamond, RN, CGC

Wallace is the poodle that started it all for me. He will forever be known as The Coolest Dog in the World.
Wallace was in the show ring for only 6 months. But in that time, he finished his AKC CH, earned a Group 1, multiple other group placements and a Best in Show in Canada.
Wallace continued to shine in the performance ring, easily completing his Rally Novice title and his Canine Good Citizen title. Wallace had 2 of the 3 required legs of his Rally Advanced title.
In the backcountry, Wallace was second-to-none. Truly a gift to have in the wilderness, Wallace proved poodles could climb mountains!
Wallace died from osteosarcoma in January 2020, nine days short of his 6th birthday. He touched many lives during his short time on this earth. Wallace is credited for changing many minds about what poodles are “supposed” to be like. I miss him everyday.
My Wally-Golly-Boy.
